NETFUND Invites Public Comments on the Draft Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC) Policy
The National Environment Trust Fund (NETFUND) is in the process of developing the Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC) Policy in consultation with key stakeholders. The policy is intended to strengthen the recognition, inclusion, and meaningful participation of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities in environmental conservation, climate change action, and sustainable natural resource management.
As part of our commitment to inclusive and participatory development, NETFUND’s invite Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs), development partners, civil society organizations, government institutions, the private sector, academia, and all interested members of the public to review the draft policy and share their comments, suggestions, and recommendations.
Your feedback will be invaluable in strengthening the policy and ensuring it reflects diverse perspectives and addresses the needs and aspirations of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities.
